Laura's Sloppy Joes



2 lbs Bunkhouse Ground Beef

2T. Olive oil

½ c. chopped onion

3 cloves garlic

½ c. chopped celery

½-1 tsp. Redman’s Sea Salt (to taste)


Brown the hamburger, reserve ½ of any juices that remain (my juice was, just that:  juice and very little fat). Remove hamburger and set aside. Add olive oil to the hot pan.  When the oil ripples, add the remainder ingredients and gently sauté. To make sauce, add the following ingredients to the sauté.  When heated through, add back the hamburger.

Sauce Ingredients

1 can tomato paste

Hamburger juices

2-2 ½ T red wine vinegar

2 T Brown mustard

2 T raw honey (or to taste)

Creole seasoning (all natural)

Pepper or steak seasoning (all natural)

Grab a hamburger bun, gluten free or otherwise, and enjoy!
