Cooking A Roast
Use any Chuck, English, Heel or Rump Roast
Ingredients
Roast
Garlic cloves
Onion, quartered
1). Sear each side of the roast in a cast iron skillet (with olive oil) then add to a crock pot. Add 1 c. water, onion, garlic and cook for 8-10 hours.

2). Remove from the crock pot to a cutting board. Tent the meat with a piece of tin foil and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing or shredding.

3). Slice Rump, English, Heel. Shred the chuck roast for BBQ Beef Sandwiches.

4). For a pot roast meal: place the roast slices back into the crockpot, submerging in the juice. Add desired vegetables (potatoes, parsnips, carrots, celery, onion, etc.) and cook for 2-4 more hours, until vegetables are done. Enjoy!

5). For BBQ Beef sandwiches, drain as much juice from the crock pot as you desire, add back the shredded roast and Bunkhouse Beef Sugar Free BBQ Sauce. Allow to heat through and serve when you are ready (will hold nicely for 2-4 hours, but you will need to add more broth if you as cooking longer).
